Ventana- Before & After (available for adoption)
Ventana- Before & After (available for adoption)

9 months old. Spayed. Vaccinated. Microchipped. FIV/FeLV negative.

Little Ventana came to us last November from a kind human who found her peering through a window. At only four months old, she was in rough shape and, after battling — and surviving — Panleukopenia (feline parvo) with the financial help of one of our amazing supporters, Marla’s Community Cat Fund at Connecticut Veterinary Center, she went on to recover in a foster home. Which is where Ventana (or Little Bit as her foster family likes to call her) really began to shine.

Ventana has a curious, but gentle, demeanor and happily spends her day exploring every inch of the house. If she encounters a toy, well that’s even better, because she can bat a fuzzy ball around for hours. Tempt her with feather wand and she’ll show off her acrobatic prowess. Give her another cat to chase, and she’s ready to rumble!

After all that excitement, Ventana is often ready for a nap, and will happily snooze next to you while you work or read. She might even fall asleep in your arms! But, like the “tween” kitten she is, know that Ventana is ready to give you gentle kisses one moment and create a ruckus the next. She adores her humans but can be a little hissy if told “no.” Which is promptly followed by more kisses. And just like any tween, she’s learning as she grows and embodies a sweetness that undoubtedly shines through.

Despite being a kitten, Ventana would do best in a home that is not too chaotic. However, we think she would enjoy having another kitten or young cat as a playmate and snuggle buddy. She’s a beautiful, joyful girl who is ready to finally be the one looking out through the window instead of in.
